For analysts — agents later
Data API
Coming soon
What this door is for
Dubsar is a humans-first diligence desk. The planned Data API is the same cited database — companies, platforms, funding, timeline, and the evidence rows behind each number — readable as structured records instead of HTML. Agents are a later consumer of that door, not a reason to scrape this site.
Intended surfaces
Nothing below is shipped. This is a sketch so the path is honest.
- Read API — REST or similar: companies, platforms, funding rounds, timeline events, and citations (URL, access date, snippet, confidence).
- CSV for Pro — subscriber spreadsheet export already exists at /app/export. The API should preserve the same empty-over-fake cells.
- Later (optional) — agent or x402-style billing on the same cited records. No prices, auth scheme, or live endpoints are specified here.
What will not change
- Citations travel with facts. A number without a source stays blank.
- USD amounts only when the source itself states USD. No invented FX or midpoint ranges.
- No capability scores, inflated market totals, or fake “LIVE DATA” status.
