Methodology
Every claim carries a source.
Dubsar Desk cites company and platform facts on humanoid robotics from pages you can open: newsroom, datasheet, filing, patent record. URL, date, and a short snippet sit on the row.
Citation key
- A quote mark next to a value means this claim has a primary source (opens URL + snippet + access date).
- ConfirmedReportedWeakare source-quality chips, not scores.
- Empty / “No cited spec” means no primary in the cited set — not a zero.
What a citation is
A non-obvious fact on the Desk should carry four things:
URL — a page you can open.
Access date — when we read it.
Snippet — a short quotation, not a rewrite or republication of the article.
Confidence — ConfirmedprimaryReportedquality pressRumorednamed as rumor
Software and capability rows use a second label: claim versus confirmed. Vendor-stated is not the same as a source that says the mode ran in the field. On the Desk, the citation chip next to a number opens that payload.

Scope
Bipedal or wheeled-humanoid platforms meant for general-purpose or industrial work, and the companies that build them. About thirty companies. The roster is locked on purpose.

How we treat the fields you actually use
Funding
One announcement is one round. We do not triplicate a single raise as seed + Series A + strategic. “Exceeded $X” is stored as a floor with a note. Public companies get a public-markets note — not an invented humanoid program budget. Homepage KPIs count rows we have, never a synthetic “market total.”
Commercial
Named counterparties only. A trial is not a deployment. An LOI or offtake target is paper, not a paid pilot. Deal size and unit counts stay empty unless the source states a number.
Specs and prices
Dated spec sheets live as versions. Numeric fields need a single stated number — ranges are not midpoints. List / early-access / EDU / deposit / rumored prices are stored only when a vendor page or quality press states them. We do not publish capability scores or editorial radars without a cited method.
Maturity and claims
Capability claims are a labeled ledger (claim vs confirmed, plus source confidence). Deployment maturity is an explicit state machine — concept → lab demo → customer pilot → limited sale → GA/production — cited, not inferred from marketing adjectives. Use-case verticals (warehouse, auto OEM, retail, home, research, healthcare; defense flagged) and supply-chain / compute names are stored only when a primary source names them. Earnings and IR mentions keep the quote and filing link. Conference rows are cited appearances, not an invented tour. Empty cells are expected; we do not fill the locked 30 for completeness.
Legal / IP
Patent rows are number, title, dates, assignee, and a public page URL. We do not republish claims or specification text. Legal events need a docket, statute, or Federal Register cite. This is not legal advice or a freedom-to-operate opinion.
Leadership, open, freshness
Named officers only as a company page or wire discloses them — no LinkedIn-only titles. Open questions are labeled gaps, not invented answers. Header dates are last primary added, last correction, and last cited-set update from changelog and citation access dates. There is no continuous scrape. The category can exist blank.
If there is no source
Height, payload, price, valuation, customer, or patent number stays blank until a source in the tiers above states it. A blank is not a zero. A sum of disclosed USD figures is not a complete cap table. We do not midpoint ranges, invent FX conversions, or copy aggregator “total raised” widgets.
What we will not put on the Desk

- Inflated market-size totals
- Unnamed “select customers”
- Live-agent or scrape-theater status badges
- Non-humanoid catalog filler
How the file moves
Additions and corrections show up on the changelog. There is no claim of continuous machine aggregation. If a cell is wrong, report it from the Desk.
A structured machine read of the same records is not offered. Do not build a scraper against the HTML.
