What we collect

Account email. Sign-in and a paid subscription use an email address. We store that email with the Stripe customer id, subscription status, price, and current period end so the Desk can tell whether the seat is active.

Billing through Stripe. Cards, invoices, and payment methods are entered on Stripe’s pages. We do not store card numbers.

Sample lead emails. If you ask for a sample dossier, we store the email you submit. The sample form can also store an optional name and role. The request keeps the referring page and browser string that arrived with it.

What the Desk is

Company and platform files compile public primary sources — newsroom pages, filings, datasheets, patent records — with a URL, a date, and a short snippet when a source exists. Those files are not a profile of you.

The Desk is cited research for investment and research teams. It is not investment advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security.

Cookies and analytics

A signed-in session sets an httpOnly cookie named hi_session. It lasts about 30 days and is how the Desk recognizes the session. It is not an advertising cookie.

The site loads Google Analytics (GA4). The measurement id is NEXT_PUBLIC_GA_MEASUREMENT_ID when that environment variable is set, and otherwise the production property. Google may set its own cookies and receive page-view data. We do not run a separate ad network. There is no consent banner on the site.

What we do not claim

We do not sell the emails we collect. We do not publish a security certification or a data-processing addendum. This page is the statement.

Stripe processes subscriptions. Google processes analytics. When outbound mail is configured, a sample-dossier note may be sent through Resend.
